DeKALB – DeKalb County Sheriff’s Sgt. Van Bomar was busy over the weekend. Bomar worked from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 11:30 a.m. Saturday helping cars in ditches and cars stuck in the middle of the road. It was all in a day’s work for Bomar, who is one of dozens of people in the county who have to work in the cold weather on a daily basis.
